The Universidad Tecnológica de la Mixteca publishes books, magazines and a university newsletter, all edited by university staff.

The University Bookshop

In 1993, in the center square of the city of Huajuapan de Leon, through an agreement with the municipal authorities, UTM opened the doors of the university bookstore, designed to satisfy an evident cultural need, an effective method to encourage reading, by facilitating the access to books in places where this service is scarcely available.

This service has become a must visit place for the people of Huajuapan. Its growth has filled cultural voids for the population, having already promoted publications from all over the country and above all the books and journals edited by our own university and the state university system of Oaxaca.

Educational and Cultural Activities

In the Universidad Tecnologica de la Mixteca, there are activities such as courses and lectures to promote the culture of the Mixtec region in order to support its population. Also, meetings and seminars have been carried out at within UTM.
