- Strong background in mathematics, theory of computation, systems programming, programming paradigms and database management systems.
- Possess knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, Computer Networks, Software Engineering, with a specialization in one of these areas.
- Ability to work in teams and demonstrate leadership qualities.
- Ability to go on to postgraduate study, find employment in the private sector or start his or her own business.
- A professional of the highest caliber, conscientious, ethical, with a commitment to the betterment of society and the environment.
